General Terms & Conditions

1. The placing of an order as a result of a quotation is a full acceptance of the terms and conditions stated herein. It is the client’s responsibility to read and fully understand there terms and conditions.
2. A 50% deposit payment is required on acceptance of quotation to begin the order. Balance is due on or before installation or delivery of goods. If payment is not made install cannot occur.
3. Accounts are strictly C.O.D. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Bankcard, bank transfers and cheques.
4. Under the Personal Properties and Securities Act 2009 (PPSA). All goods remain the property of Sunblinds Pty Ltd until payment is received in full.
5. Sunblinds Pty Ltd holds the right to charge interest to the Customer on all amounts which are thirty (30) days overdue at that rate of 2% per month until payment is made in full. Where payment is not made by the due date, the Customer in addition to any other obligations imposed hereunder, pay on demand all costs (including but not limited to storage delivery collection obsolescence, debt recovery commission costs and legal costs on a full indemnity basis) incurred by Sunblinds Pty Ltd in recovering overdue amounts from the Customer.
6. The individuals acknowledge that under the Privacy Act (1988), Sunblinds Pty Ltd is allowed to give a credit reporting agency personal information about the account. The information which may be given to an agency is covered by section 18E(1) of the Act.
7. An order cannot be cancelled or altered once manufacture has begun as our products are all custom made. This is not negotiable.
8. All pricing is subject to check measure by Sunblinds Pty Ltd before commencement of order.
9. All effort will be made for delivery dates to be adhered to however, Sunblinds Pty Ltd cannot be held responsible for delays due to circumstances beyond its control.
10. All quotations made by Sunblinds Pty Ltd shall be effective for a period of 60 days.
11. If a product is faulty sunblinds Pty Ltd will offer a repair or replacement under our warranty terms and conditions.

Warranty Terms

1. Warranty does not cover the effects of misuse or abuse, normal wear and tear, care not taken in accordance with the installer/fitter instructions.
2. Products must be installed by a Sunblinds approved and qualified installer/fitter.
3. Sunblinds Pty Ltd accept no responsibility for misuse of products.
4. This warranty applies to any defects in materials or manufacture.
5. Warranty is not transferable.
6. Proof of purchase (invoice) is required.
7. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or repair for any failure that may occur.
8. At Sunblinds, we never want a faulty product, but unfortunately this happens from time to time. Many of our products come with a Suppliers warranty. If you do experience a fault or defect with your product, we recommend that you contact us at Sunblinds directly for assistance.
9. Goods purchased after 1st January 2011 are covered by The Australian Consumer Law. Any goods purchased prior to this are covered by the implied warranties and conditions in state and territory fair trading laws and the Trade Practices Act 1974.
10. By accepting the Sunblinds Product the client is accepting the terms of warranty.
